Dr Sun Yet Sen - 孫中山先生
Revolutionary Leader of Modern China, Founder of the Republic of China
Dr Sun was the chief leader of the 1911 Revolution, the founding Provisional President of the Republic of China. He has been recognised as the "Father of the Nation" by the Chinese in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and overseas; while being called the "Forerunner of the Revolution" by the People's Republic of China Government.
Dr Henry Fok G.B.M. - 霍英東博士
Business and Political Leader in China
Fok was a businessman who has been active in political field. He was the Vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He was recognized as one of the national leaders of the People's Republic of China.
Dr Stanley Ho O.B.E. - 何鴻燊博士
King of Gambling, Macau Tycoon
Ho studied at Queen's College, Hong Kong, at which he attended Class D - the lowest class level in the then Hong Kong Class System - owing to unsatisfactory academic results. After realizing that studying assiduously was the only way to improve his social status, his hard work paid off and earned him a scholarship to the University of Hong Kong. He became the first student from Class D to be granted a university scholarship. He was unable to finish his university study, however, because of the outbreak of World War II. In 1942, he fled from the Japanese and settled in Macau.
Prof Joseph Sung Jao-yiu S.B.S - 沈祖堯教授
Vice-Chancellor, Chinese University Hong Kong
Sung is one of the most significant figures in Hong Kong's fighting with the SARS in 2003. He was the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is now Vice-Chancellor and President of the Chinese University of Hong Kong from July 1, 2010.

Szeto was a former Legislative Councillor, Chairman of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements in China.
He enrolled in Queen's college and graduated from Grantham College of Education.He entered the teaching profession in 1952, and became headmaster of the GCEPSA Kwun Tong Primary School in 1961.
